The easy appointment
It is February the 5th, and you have an appointment with a doctor for taking some blood samples in your hospital. When you enter the hospital, you go to a Mobile Terminal (MT). Once at the terminal, your ID appears immediately on the screen with some options, like your appointments, your personal information, hospital history, etc. You select your appointment on the touch screen, and the doctor knows at once that you are in the hospital,
ready for your visit.
On the screen, you see now at what hour your appointment was, and how to find your way through the mazes of the hospital. When you enter the cabinet, the doctor get your information on his computer, and can start with the examination. Once the results of the examination are known, the client can access them on the internet. Also other doctors for that client can access by internet the hospital history of that person. No need to print and send documents everytime to everyone. If you need something, just access it on internet.

How does this work?
In the hospital you have one (or multiple) Mobile Terminals. This terminal is connected to a database-server with all the information in. When you log in on the database, you see only that information that you are allowed to see, such as your personal information etc.
This database can also be linked to a (secured) website, facebook-alike, where you can access the same information as on the terminal. In this way, patients can access their own personal information and doctors can consult their patients medical history, and at new information. No need anymore to carry around ones medical information,just easy and up-to-date information, accessible anywhere.
