The ultimate hotel

Imagine you are on vacation in Venice for the second time.Last year, you went to VeniceHotelDeluxe and you were very happy from your room, the service, etc. So this year, you reserved a room in the same hotel.

You enter the hotel, and the receptionist welcomes you immediately with your name and gives you the floor and number of your room, without you even needed to say one word. You take the elevator to your floor and once arrived at your room, the door automatically opens. Wow! That comes in handy, cause your hands are stuffed with all sort of luggage.

In the morning you wake up, and on the table of your room you see "The New York Times",
your favorite newspaper and a glass of orange juice. At 9 o'clock you have to go
downstairs to attend a meeting with a customer. You take the elevator and downstairs the receptionist hand you over your car keys and your car is parked in front of the hotel. The only thing you have to be worried about, is to make a successful deal and enjoy your trip in Venice.

How does this work?

At first the hotel need a database in which they put data of every customer, like his favorite newspaper; favorite beverage; etc.

At the entrance is a Camera Terminal (CT) installed. When a customer enters the hotel, the CT identifies the individual and sends the database information of this person to the computer of the receptionist. Immediately, the customer is checked in into the system, and the receptionist gets his name and room number on his computer screen.At the door of every room you see another CT. This CT automatically unlocks the door as he recognizes the individual that will stay in that specific room (for example: see video XYZ). So no need any more for finding the entrance card to be able to enter the room.

In the morning, due to the database and the automatic check in system of the CT, a computer can give you the habits of every person of his past stays. The employees of the hotel can easily anticipate on the likes and dislikes of every individual and get an as high as possible satisfaction rate.In the hallway or in the elevator you have another CT. This warns the receptionist as the customer is coming down. He can prepare himself on a possible leave of the customer by searching the car keys or other actions.
