Ticket Terminal (TT)

The Ticket Terminal is a face recognition solution that combines 2 detection systems; the visual light technology and the RFID-system. These 2 integrated systems make sure that the Ticket Terminal has an extremely high accuracy and very suitable for anyone who bought an electronic ticket or uses a badge to enter a location. The technology of the Ticket Terminal is perfect to identify and give access to a lot of people in a very short period of time. The terminal can be used outdoors in a tent for example as the camera is adjustable to light.

Benefits: The prime advantage of the ticket terminal is that it always double checks and therefore gives very fast access. Instead of having to search the whole database of hudreds or thousands of faces, the ticket information already provides information of the holder's face, and the camera simply double checks that the ticket holder matches the person facing the camera. That makes it very fast within a time of 1 less than second/person.

The ticket terminal is also adjustable to the environmental light and can therefore be used in artificial or natural outdoor light. It's professional look and high-quality service makes it very beneficial for large streams of people to access a location. The ticket terminal is therefore ideal for big events (for example sport events and concerts) , secured government agencies, airport etc where a lot of people have to be identified in a very short period of time.

The downside of the ticket terminal is that people have to be registrated in advance, together with their ticket. They can simply do that by sending a picture to the registration responsible and he will link that to a ticket number.

The ticket terminal isn’t also able to identify children, smaller than 1.40 meters, so they have be raised by an adult or stand higher on a step.
